Changelog

What’s new in traffic.cx

New features, improvements and fixes, newest first. It’s the same list you see under What’s new in the dashboard.

  1. Improved

Stronger security and clearer privacy terms

    • Security headers: every page now sends a strict content security policy and HSTS.
    • Safer data collection: events must arrive through our edge network, so nobody can send fake visits straight to our servers.
    • Shared links: changing a shared link's password now signs out everyone using the old one.
    • Legal pages: a data processing agreement (DPA) and a list of the providers we use, at traffic.cx/dpa and traffic.cx/subprocessors.
    • Reporting a problem: our disclosure policy and security.txt explain how to report a security issue.
  2. New

A live demo, a status page and our own numbers

You can now look around traffic.cx before you sign up, and see how the service is doing at any time.

    • Live demo: explore the full dashboard with sample data at demo.traffic.cx. Nothing you do there is saved.
    • Our own numbers: traffic.cx now tracks itself, and the dashboard is public. Find the link in the Live section of the home page.
    • Status page: status.traffic.cx shows whether the website, dashboard, API and data collection are up.
    • Changelog: this page, also at traffic.cx/changelog, with a feed you can follow.
